Communication converters have wide applications in converting various signal ranges like microwave, radio frequency etc. Ethernet converters are compact, plug-in type communication converters that use the Modbus/TCP protocol for connecting to host devices with Ethernet capability and uses the Modbus/RTU protocol for connecting to devices with the with communication functions. Device Net Converter connects digital indicating controllers, signal conditioners and power monitors and to PLCs that support Device Net, and provide monitoring and parameter setting functions. RF converters are integrated component assemblies used for converting microwave signals into lower or intermediate or higher frequency ranges for further processing. They consist of an input filter, a local oscillator filter, an IF filter, a mixer, and frequently a LO frequency multiplier, with one or more stages of IF amplification. They often incorporate a local oscillator, GC/gain compensation components, and a RF preamplifier. They are available in various frequency ranges requiring diverse applications.
